These terms govern your use of the Grok to PDF browser extension (the “extension”) and the grok-to-pdf.com website (the “site”). By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to them.
Who we are
Grok to PDF is an independent browser extension operated by the developer reachable at tarasov.slavas2002@gmail.com. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI or Grok.
What the extension does
The extension adds an export control to Grok conversations so you can save them as PDF, Word, or Markdown, preserving math, code, images, and diagrams. It runs locally in your browser: your conversations are read and converted on your own device, and nothing is uploaded to a server we control.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the extension and site only for lawful purposes and in line with the terms of the third-party services it works with. In particular, you agree not to:
- use the extension in a way that breaches xAI's or Grok's own terms of service;
- use it to infringe copyright or other intellectual-property rights, or to redistribute content you are not permitted to use;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or circumvent access controls or usage limits of the extension or any connected service;
- resell, sublicense, or present the extension as your own product.
Plans and billing
The extension offers a free tier with a limited number of monthly exports, and paid Pro plans (monthly, yearly, and a one-time lifetime plan) that remove that limit. Current prices are listed on the pricing page and are in US dollars.
- Monthly and yearly plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- The lifetime plan is a single one-time payment with no recurring charges.
- We may change prices or plan features going forward; changes do not affect the price of a subscription period you have already paid for.
Refunds are handled under our refund policy.
Third-party services
The extension works on top of Grok, which is operated by xAI and governed by its own terms and policies. We do not control that service and are not responsible for changes it makes that affect how the extension works.
Availability and changes
We provide the extension and site on a best-effort basis and may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Because the extension depends on Grok's pages, changes on xAI's side may temporarily or permanently affect functionality.
Disclaimer & liability
The extension and site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the extension or site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the date above. Continuing to use the extension or site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
